October 28, 2015 in St. Petersburg at the House of Scientists took place IX St.Petersburg Interregional Conference "Information Security of Russian Regions (IBRD 2015)".
The event attended Head of the Department of information security and information protection Vladimir Vladimirovich Mayorov, who delivered a message on behalf of the Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg A. N. Govorunova in which he said that evolving continuously, the conference has become an authoritative platform on which leading scholars, experts and representatives of public authorities of subjects of the Russian Federation discuss topical issues of preservation and development of the common secured information space of Russia, as well as a number of other issues, including information-psychological security, training and retraining human resources, development of professional standards.
Also V. Mayorov presented the welcome speech of the Chairman of the Committee on Information and Communication I.A. Gromov in which he stressed that the pace of globalization, as well as the widespread usage of information and communication technologies imply the strengthening of measures to ensure the security of information exchange. That is why the formation of a high-tech sound system and the security of the information infrastructure of the city is one of the most important activities of the Committee on Information and Communication.
The founders of the conference are: the Government of St. Petersburg, Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg, Leningrad Region Government, the Ministry of Communications, Ministry of Education and Science, Russian Academy of Education, Computer Equipment and Information Technology Academy of Sciences, St. Petersburg Scientific Center RAS, St. Petersburg territorial group Russian National Committee on Automatic Control, St. Petersburg Institute for Informatics and Automation of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and other organizations.
IX St.Petersburg Interregional Conference "Information Security of Russian Regions (IBRD 2015) will run until 30 October 2015.
