The three-stage water purification system
Installation of water purification can demonstrate three main types of water purification: through a sand filter, adsorption and ion exchange. Water goes through these steps in turn. First, in a sand filter of the water removed solid impurities, after which it is fed to the second unit where it is removed from the solute by means of alumina and activated carbon. In the third step by ion exchange occurs to remove any unwanted ions. In this case, key points in the system being monitored parameters such as water temperature, flow rate and its electrical conductivity and its pressure drop.
Stand water treatment by flotation
Installation of water purification shows from suspended solid particles of pollutant by flotation. The principle of operation of the system is based on the fact that when added to water coagulant, it starts to form flakes which are collected by means of air bubbles. During the cleaning process is carried collect data to adjust the flow experiment by adding flocculant (for level monitoring of pH), supplying coagulants (for floc formation) and changes in the water feed rate. As the coagulant is proposed to use trivalent metal salts, as flocculants - organic polymers.
